About Odysseys Surf School?

Odysseys Surf School, founded by Michael Wu, is a partnership business registered as PT. Odysseys  Bali - Indonesia in October 1993 with its principal activity as a surfing school. Located in Mercure Hotel Kuta Arcade just in front of Kuta Beach, which is renowned for its sandy bottom and its white waves breaking at waist deep water, facilitating the learning experience. Thus Odysseys Surf School is just a perfect place to learn how to surf in Bali. Our offered programs are suitable for people aged between 7 and 50 years old. With the best value for money and finest tuition in the safest surf location, we guarantee a wonderful experience for you to stand up on the surfing board and ride your wave under the constant supervision of our professional instructor.

Odysseys Surf School was established in Bali in October 2003 and is supported by theAcademy of Surfing Instructors Australia, Oakley, and Hard Rock Café. Odysseys Surf School also possesses the Accredited Surf School Certificate from Australia. All our instructors are certified by the Academy of Surfing Instructors Australia, and they additionally hold a Bronze Lifesaving Medallion Certificate. Our professional instructors will teach you with safety and care.

For people who never surfed before we will firstly teach in a swimming pool area for about 15 minutes to ensure they familiarize themselves with the surfing board, paddling, balance, and safety in the water.  For the intermediate until advanced level we will guide you directly to the beach and introduce the character of Kuta waves and focus on technique improvement. Regarding children lessons, we make sure that our staff will fully take care of them and the instructors will teach them vigilantly. The variety within our programs provides vast freedom of choice to find one that will be most suitable for you.  Either half day to five days group lessons, or if you prefer a private lesson for your convenience, or semiprivate lesson which can be suitable for couples or best friends.

Our fully air conditioned transportation will pick you up and transfer you back to your hotel.
